d/vision films to produce bi-weekly comedy show for YouTubersD/Vision Films, a production affiliate of the Domani Vision Film Society, has begun production on a bi-weekly comedy program that will be posted on YouTube starting in July 2008. The yet untitled show will be presented in a talk show-style format that is a cross between THE DAILY SHOW and WAYNE'S WORLD, and will be hosted by Money Casciolini & The Other Guy, alumni of the early days of VISIONFEST, as their short subject mockumentary, THIS THING RIGHT HERE!, closed the very first edition of the festival. Episodes of the program will also be accessible via this site. dvfs gearing up for charity stand-up comedy show in september 2008 The Domani Vision Film Society is currently in negotiations with several major comedy venues in NYC in an effort to stage a charity fundraiser for the Child Life Program of Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. The event, which is titled VISIONLAUGH FOR LIFE, will be held on a yet to be determined date, the week prior to VF08 (which runs September 17-21, 2008). The program will feature several well known stand-up comics, as well as some up and comers, performing in a 2 hour show. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Maimonides Medical Center Child Life Program, which provides assistance to children with life-threatening illnesses.
